            People start celebrating Christmas the day after Thanksgiving, and continue through
December 25th.  Originally a Christian holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus,  some people who are not religious have Christmas with their families. People decorate their houses, inside and outside Christmas trees are REAL TREES covered with lights, ornaments, and candy.     
Where does Santa Claus leave presents?  
TYPICAL CHRISTMAS SWEETS:Christmas cookies, gingerbread houses, eggnog, and candy canes.  There is a Thanksgiving-style feast on December 24th or 25th. Some people go to
church on December 24th, Christmas Eve.   They open their presents The morning of December 25th,Christmas Day.
